Stop blaming the politicians!
Jarbas is telling it like it is. The schemes to steal the public monies are so hugh that the politicians must spend most of their time with the management of their schemes. Do you think it is a simple matter to arrange to steal billions of reais every year? Hell no. This country is so rich that it still functions even though the politicians steal billions and billions every year. Only the people can do something about this. If the people are not willing to protest vigorously in the streets day after day, then nothing will change. So, stop blaming the politicians.
Mr. Castro should be forgiven
A writer writes best about what he/she knows personally. Mr. Castro should be forgiven for writing so well about Rio. I imagine he is not expecting his book "Amestrando orgasmos – bípedes, quadrúpedes e outras fixações animais" to be key to his admittance to the Academia Brasileira de Letras.
